When botox injections are applied, the total effect takes some time to show, typically 6-14 days after the injection day. The resulting impact of these injections lasts for 3-6 months.
This is a safe procedure. And it is usually done as an OPD procedure in hospitals and many beauty clinics. A botox injection does not cause harm even if done multiple times. Also, compared to Facelift Surgery, it is a safer and cheaper alternative.
What Age can people use Botox?
Now, which age groups are best suited for Botox injections? Typically, people in the ages of 20-40 years can derive the best benefits from botox injections. However, it still needs to give good results after 40 years of Age.

Precautions to Take Before Using Botox Injections

Botox Side Effects. Finally, I will tell you some side effects of Botox used for anti-aging and anti-wrinkle treatment. The most common side effect is pain and swelling at the injection site.
Bruising can also occur at the site. But these issues sort themselves out after a few days, so there is no need to be too concerned. You may also get a mild headache, which should resolve in a day or two.
Third, if you have had an injection done somewhere near the eye area, the eyelid may close halfway or more, which is called Drooping Eye. This often occurs because the medicine spreads a bit from the injection site.
That is why the doctor advises you not to rub or touch the injection site too much after an injection. But if you still get the problem of Drooping Eye, it will take 2-3 weeks to become alright, but it will become ok by itself.
Sometimes, after getting an injection, the eyes dry too much, and sometimes they become too wet.
Some people suffer from a mild fever or body pain and get an upset stomach, but all of these symptoms should resolve within 2-3 days. And if they do not go away on their own, then go to a doctor immediately.
